Imagine over three-hundred thousand square feet packed full of exotic and fully aquatic animals! One of my treasured memories is the day i went to the Tulsa Aquarium. I went with my friend Cody Foltz and it was a crazy day! The day kicked off off when we went and ate so much food!

We were in the food court and we ordered about fifty dollars worth of food! Not only was it a plethora of food, but it was gone in a matter of minutes! We ate about 5 meals between the two of us.

After fueling up on junk food, our day was about to begin. We had over three-hundred thousand feet to cover, and two floors! We first went to the museum part and looked at two frogs humping. Cody enjoyed that part. We then moved to the touch tanks and touched some shrimp! They also had star fish, sting rays, and baby sharks! It was so much fun! The little fish were friendly and liked being petted.

We walked around and looked at a bunch of exhibits and tanks filled with oddities. They had everything from electric eels, to octopi, and even two-hundred pound Alligator Snapping Turtle! They were tanks next to tanks, next to tanks! Every four feet was a new odditie!

They also had a mammal exhibit which was in interesting. They had a few possums and raccoons and even an awesome, trick-doing river otter! None of them compared to the beavers! The beavers were roughly the size of a bear cub. They also looked very angry that we were teasing them. These facts did not deter Cody, who decided he wanted to “pet” them. I personally had to pull him of of the glass, that was keeping him out of the exhibit. That definitely wouldn't have ended well.

The day started to wind down and we started to chill. The aquarium had a huge full size shark exhibit that you could walk through! We laid down in it and watch the sharks swim around. It was pretty romantic if you ask me. The clear glass and shimmering water made the experience epic. On the way home we both fell asleep. It was one of the best days ever.
